How fast should I expect my hair to fall out once I start with chemo?

First I would like to let you know how much I feel for you. I am sorry you will be going through chemo and hope you stay strong. You will get through it and hopefully be well in the end.

I have three friends who have either gone through or are going through chemo. Just take it day by day. Just because you will be going through chemo does not necessarily mean your hair will fall out.

One of my friends who now has a clean bill of health was lucky. Her hair did not fall out, to the point she was bald. Her hair was coming out more than usual in the shower, but it never was really noticeable.

On the other hand, you may experience hair loss within a week or so. I think it depends on each person and the amount of chemo you will be receiving. My heart goes out to you, hang in there and know that hair will grow back.

Although it is something you can see everyday in the mirror, battling your disease is the most important issue on hand. You can consider getting cute wigs. You can try new styles and colors you never dreamed of.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
