How hard is it to get a bartending job in Ireland if you are American?

Retrain in something ireland is lacking and needs badly that it can't source within the EU....that is pretty much your only chance TBH. If you are hitting dead ends in the states, you're going to hit brick walls in Ireland right now TBH. ETA: I.M.HOT You've got some cheek.

My city is overwhelmed with irish coming here to look for jobs right now. We welcome them, we don't tell them to "get back to their own country", even though we're not exactly awash with work right now either. What an awful, rude thing to say.

Perhaps you'll feel differently if you ever have to emigrate to find work and someone tells you to "get back to your own country".

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
