Why is Ireland southern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland?

The term "Southern Ireland" is an informal term used for the Republic of Ireland, to distinguish it from "Northern Ireland". It is not an official name or geographically correct. The Republic of Ireland includes, all of southern, eastern, western and midlands of the island, and even some of the north of the island. In fact, the most northerly point of the island of Ireland is in the Republic of Ireland, so the most northerly point in Ireland is in what people sometimes refer to as "Southern Ireland" or "The South".

"Ireland" is the official name used in the Irish constitution for the country. It is Éire in the Irish language.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
