How high does the rock go and how long does it take it to reach it's highest point?

They are the same exact mineral (corundum) but with different chemical impurities to make them different colors. Like there are different colors of sapphire, pink, yellow, green, etc.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
