How do you increase the water pressure or tell if there is a kink in the line of a side-by-side refrigerator that has low water pressure from the water dispenser?

If it was working before then you probably need to replace the filter. New install? Check for obstructions, but I would replace the filter on that one, too You can try changing the water filter and see if that helps.

Some refrigerator filters now come with a fast flow filter that may fit your refrigerator. I know that Whirlpool does have upgrades. If that's not it I would look for your shut off valve to the URL1 may be partially closed or have a kink in the water line.

We have a RO system for drinking water under our sink and our own well (not city water). Does anyone know a quick fix for increasing the water pressure to the refrigerator? And, if I cannot fix it myself, who should I call, a plumber or the refrigerator repair man (it's a Maytag).

Thanks for your help. First of all you're going to have to establish the water PSI going into the ice maker. Ice makers work on approximate range of 35 to 50 PSI so if you're pressure's lower then that you've located the problem.

Before you can start any kind of a repair you have to know what caused the problem in the first place. Test the pressure and get back to me. Regards, Tom Helpful Reply We'd like to understand what you find wrong with speedball1's answer: What's inaccurate about this answer?

Say it in 25 words or less here and/or reply in the thread with more detail.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
