Appliance guy came to my house and said that the motor needs to be replaced. He said that his price for the parts is $129 and his labor is $80 totaling $209 plus tax. This does not include $30 inspection charge that I paid him when he was leaving my house.
I asked him what he will do to replace the motor and he pointed out two (2) nuts that are holding everything. I asked him, "You will charge me $80 to unscrew these two nuts and replace the whole thing?" He said " it doesn't matter how easy the work is.
My labor is $80. I called Sears and they told me that their price for the parts is $89 plus tax. Sears tech took me through their web pages showing exactly what needs to be replaced.
It is not hard at all. I will investigate more and will do it myself. I should be able to do it for $130 instead of $260 (these include inspection charge of $30.... Rumio 63 months ago.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
