Don't confuse acceptance with resignation. Acceptance encourages you to make peace with your limitations at the same time that it encourages you to seek out new treatment options to help you reduce your chronic pain. Resignation depletes and depresses you and prevents you from making true peace with your limitations.
It may prevent you from even seeking help. Acceptance leads to hope. Resignation leads to hopelessness.
Your challenge is to find - and change - the meaning in your pain, even as you seek ways to eliminate and reduce it.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
