Of course we should all be skeptical, even if the claims are scientific. But that’s the beauty of science. Science is not dogma- it is a method; it’s alive and dynamic.
A scientific claim only holds sway as long as it can be verified through the scientific method. When another claim comes along that is proven with a greater degree of veracity then that theory needs to move over or somehow be revised. Religion on the other hand is chalk full ‘o’ dogma-- crusty, unverifiable assertions.
I just don’t understand why people continually try to classify science as ‘another religion’. The day that religious claims are supported by repeated double blind studies is the day I’ll give them respect. I’m not holding my breath.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
