I went to an inner city high school and lived many years in poorer parts of town. I always got along with everyone regardless of their backgrounds. I enjoyed many years of employment with people from minority groups and I have no ill will towards any group.
When I first heard accusations of racism towards ordinary Americans who banded together because they felt they were "taxed enough already" I couldn't believe it. I think the Democrats are playing a dangerous game with their charges of racism and more than likely it will backfire on them. I hope but am not encouraged about the 2012 race which is shaping up to be a sewer brawl.
Mr. Wolf, You are incorrect in your assumption. The TEA party never stated there were not racists within the movement, as anyone with half a brain knows there are racists within every group or organization within this country, what is stated is the TEA party is NOT a racist organization. The local TEA party chapters welcome anyone who believes in the basic core values, and being racist is not one of them.
Just as one organization cannot claim there are not any racist individuals within the movement, nor can any other organization, NAACP included. To claim there is a racist element within the movement is unfounded and incorrect. The prime example of a racist element within an organization is to look at the New Black Panther Party.
This organization is based on racism.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
