How long do you cook a meatloaf?

1 1/2 pounds of ground beef usually 1 hr. 30 min. :) Are you cooking dinner with that ground beef in your fridge lol :) .

Yep, have not been eating at home for the whole week. Don't want to let all the stuff in the fridge go to waste. Alex 5 months ago .

Lol, Happy cooking! If only I could cook all day I would be in my glory! :) Here is a recipe that could help you out a bit.

Cook and freeze for later :)Individual MeatloavesIngredients1 tablespoon good olive oil3 cups chopped yellow onions (3 onions)1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves2 teaspoons kosher salt1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce1/3 cup canned chicken stock or broth1 tablespoon tomato paste2 1/2 pounds ground chuck (81 percent lean)1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs (recommended: Progresso)2 extra-large eggs, beaten1/2 cup ketchup (recommended: Heinz)DirectionsPreheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Heat the olive oil in a medium saute pan. Add the onions, thyme, salt, and pepper and cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, for 8 to 10 minutes, until the onions are translucent but not brown.

Off the heat, add the Worcestershire sauce, chicken stock, and tomato paste. Allow to cool slightly. In a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, onion mixture, bread crumbs, and eggs, and mix lightly with a fork.

Don't mash or the meatloaf will be dense. Divide the mixture into 6 (10 to 11-ounce) portions and shape each portion into a small loaf on a sheet pan. Spread about a tablespoon of ketchup on the top of each portion.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until the internal temperature is 155 to 160 degrees F and the meat loaves are cooked through. Serve hot.

Hehe. You are way over-estimating my cooking abilities! Alex 5 months ago .

It's funny because they usually say 1 hour whether you use 1 or 2 pounds of meat. You will have better results with 2 pounds. Make sure that after all the ingredients are mixed, you keep kneading it with your fingers to make tight and smooth.

You can put a topping on it, whatever the recipe calls for. Usually an hour at 350 will do it. Check from time to time.

Doing 2lb at 350 for 1:30. Will poke and prod to test the result. Alex 5 months ago .

We tried this last week and my husband stuck up his "foodie nose" and gave me a look. I used the recipe from the back of Lipton soup and it is really delicious! Very easy and highly recommended.

He loved it, by the way.

We all need to k now how the meatloaf turned out! .

Tasted fine, kind of crumply slices. Most importantly, I am still alive and kicking. Alex 5 months ago .

Keep in mind that ingredient lists for meatloaf are more like guidelines. I like to grate an apple into the mix. It sweetens and moistens it.

Also oatmeal can substitute for the breadcrumbs and barbecue sauce can substitute for the ketchup.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
