How long would you let a tank go fallow that had an ick breakout? Is three weeks enough?

I am having trouble with rising temperature. Early in the morning my tank is around 74 degrees. The lights go on for 8 hours.

At the end of the eight hours the tank is 78 degrees and that seems like a big temperature change to me. Are PC's considered heat hogs? I have a 96Watt Coralife PC on a 40 gallon reef tank.

I have a glass top but I keep the lid cracked and I have a hang on the back filter so the tank should get enough air, but maybe not. What do you think? Adding fans to your canopy should help out a lot.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
