How many breakfast meats can you name?

Many, many... Bacon, Canadian bacon, pork sausages, both patty and link types, pork chops are popular in New Orleans, chorizo for Tex-Mex fans, chicken fried steak with eggs is a Texas staple and in Pennsylvania scrapple is the local favorite. Can't forget ham of ham and eggs fame and yes a T-Bone steak is eaten by many athletes for breakfast. And Italians like pancetta.

Bratwurst and eggs is not uncommon in the upper midwest. The Brits favor kippers or kidneys in the AM for some reason and many folks, Jewish and gentile, like lox or smoked salmon on their bagels. For myself, sage flavored patty sausage or applewood smoked bacon are hard to beat..

I never have really thought of steak as a breakfast food but I guess that whatever floats someone's boat is okay. My favorite breakfast meat is bacon followed closely by country ham. Of course I seldom turn down sausage either.
