How many fish can I fit in a 10 gallon tank?

A 30g is a nice size tank so assuming you have a good heater and filter, you have many options. I suggest getting one territorial fish, one-two schools, and a bottom dweller. Maybe even a group of livebearers if the tank is stable Note how I said territorial, not plain "aggressive".

Territorial just means they should be kept single for their species. My number one suggestion is a gourami, perhaps dwarf or honey. You could get a betta instead, but they are limited in compatibility ( I will mention that later).

For schooling fish I recommend tetra. They have to be kept in groups of 6 minimally, but the more the better. Some smaller species are rummynose, glowlight, or black neon.

Some larger ones are bleeding heart, blackskirt, or glofish tetra. The reason I said one-two schools is because you really can have two schools of 6 each. However, the tank will most likely be more lively and active and healthy if instead you chose one species and up-ed it's number to 10-12 -ish.

(FYI- Bettas can become overwhelmed by active schools, so if you choose a betta, I suggest making it a female and picking a dull tetra such as the black neon) You have a few options for bottom dwellers. Kuhli loaches and cories (ex- albino or peppered) are each shoaling fish, and should be kept in groups of minimally 5. However, your tank has room for up to 8, depending on what/how many other fish you buy.

Each of those is compatible with bettas. Instead of one of these fish, you could do shrimp as a bottom dweller. However, they should only be kept with bettas if you have many hiding spots are available.

Some great species are amano, japenese, or yellow. You can have anywhere from 1-10. Last but not least, the livebearers.

Since your tank already will be rather full, platies or guppies are your best bet. They should be kept in a group of 3 or more, and all the same sex; you will not believe how fast they reproduce! (If you get a betta, dull platies will be the best) I know that this is a lot of information to take in at once, so perhaps to simplify things, here are a few combinations which would work- 1 Female betta 8 black neons 8 albino cories 4 female platy(suggestion- panda) Apple Snail (note- these can get large!) 2 Honey Gourami 6 rummynose.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
