How many hours per day do you spend in askville? Is it becoming an obsession?

I began askville a few days ago and after this question, I will have 80 gold. I am finding it amusing and perhaps a little addictive. I estimate that I am spending a few hours each day.

You have only seen the tip of the iceberg my friend. You will start to make friends on here and then you will have little rivalries that develop and before long you will be trapped here just like I am, LOL. Seriously though it can be very addictive.

Between the gold, the people and just the stimulating atmosphere this place can take over your life in no time flat. I started out just like you and now I spend at least three hours a day on here and sometimes many more than that. Then, just when I was getting a little restless they let me spend my coins on Amazon gift cards so that now I equate my pile of gold with potential books and if there is one thing that I am more addicted to than Askville it is books.So here I sit, trapped for all eternity in great halls of my crappy castle as I reign over my kingdom of crap.

All the while watching that pile of gold get bigger and bigger and just waiting for the day when I can use it to get some more books. Askville Anonymous would do me no good because I am far too far-gone for that. Sources: my life .

About 5 hours I spend way too much time on here. I have become addicted. I get on here while at work.

4-5 hours/day I have my laptop on almost the whole day and browse different websites, do my work and sometimes have a look at Askville to see if there is anything new going on or not. While working I might think of some questions and thats when I come directly here and ask the question. I would say, I spend in average 4-5 hours/day here.

I used to spend much less! I think I am getting addicted somehow, but it's not a bad addiction in some ways, because I learn a lot from reading the answers and seeing different perspectives and a variety of point of views. You may wanna think about getting an Askville mug or t-shirt as a motive!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
