Those of you who are leading in quest coins, how many hours per day do you spend on the computer and on Askville?

Please don't take offense - I'm really just curious because I love Askville and would love to spend more time on it but with 10 month old twins I hardly have the time! Especially people like Happy Mom, who I assume has children, how do you find the time? Do you get anything else done during the day?

Time flies when you're having fun! My computer is on from about 8 am till 1:30 am...I work, or do whatever I need to do, and come back to check on Askville and email and other computer things regularly...so I really don't keep track of the actual time I spend here. My business is online so I do need to monitor it closely.

But probably way more than I should! But I do get my work done, so that's all that matters. I work from home so that's easier, and I'm not getting paid for my time by someone else.

And I'm alone at home most of the time so you all are my extended family now! I always figure it's better to be at Askville helping people and learning stuff and stockpiling those coins that SOME DAY will be very valuable (!) than sitting around killing people and blowing up things on a video game... But once you get going here, the points mount up pretty fast; you will be suprised! And it's so darn addictive!

Be careful! *Poppet*'s Recommendations 763 Chocolate Coins, only $0.08 each! Average Customer Rating: 5.0 out of 5 (based on 1 reviews) Here you go, this should get you started in coin collecting!.

I have a secret advantage. Well it isn’t really a secret but it sure is an advantage. I’m retired, my son is grown and out on his own and I have a lot of time to spend on Askville.

I would guess that I spend at least five hours a day on here and even with being retired I tend to put off things that I really need to do so that I can spend more time here. Right now for example I really need to go to the bathroom but here I sit ignoring what is becoming a rather strong urge. Boys and girls can you spell addiction?

Time on Askville is my 'reward'... Ya, for me it's a mind game...Once supper is finished and the kitchen is back in order...everyone is settled down for the evening...sometimes, we'll go for a neighborhood walk, then, the night is mine. Sometimes I get so involved with Askville, it's midnight, my eyes are trying to close...and I just have to answer 'one more'.... Oh well, it IS a good addiction, I consider it my 'continuing education'....having learned so darned much from all these folks here. With 10 month old twins, it's a wonder you have a spare moment, ever... I spend 8 hours a day at work And I usually find time to answer between 25-30 questions during the day...During lunch and off times. Having a child would make it difficult to be on alot. Fulltime moms work really hard!.

It's really less about the amount of time, but I'll answer that as well. It has more to do with quality of answers and the level achieved in each topic. It’s easy to just duck in for awhile and scope out some questions in your favorite topics.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
