How many new quests are there in the World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion pack?

World of Warcraft launched the expansion Cataclysm in December 2010 with rave reviews. The expansion hosted several additional gaming elements including a level cap raise from 80 to 85 approximately 3500 new quests. These quests are in the form of quest chains, dungeon quests, and daily quests that can be found in major player cities.

The expansion also included new towns, two new character race options, and of course new 10 and 25 man raiding options for dungeons. New quests are added for various in game events, holiday events, and other related questing events. The additional quests also include new quests in starting zones and low and middle level range questing areas.
