Whether or not you study plant disease and how many individual plant diseases you do study is going to depend upon the curriculum of that class. Is it an introductory class, like a 100-level course? Or, is it an upper level class?
The level of the class will help you figure out how in-depth the class will be, as well as what sorts of topics you may cover. Intro classes aren’t likely to cover the gamut of complex plant disease, because you’re learning a lot of information at once, so there isn’t time for everything. An upper level course will give you more detailed and more difficult information because you already have basic knowledge in the subject.
Read the class description, if you have access to one. It might specifically say how many and which diseases you’ll cover in class or it may just give you a general overview of the botany topics you’ll cover. Either way, you should have a better understanding of what you’ll do in class, which should help to prepare you for the types of issues you’ll cover.
If you don’t have access to the class description, or if you simply want more detailed information, then you have two options. First, you can contact the professor directly and ask for a rundown of the class topics. You can ask about specific diseases and the number of diseases you’ll cover.
He or she may even be able to provide you with the class syllabus early so that you can be prepared for what’s coming. Second, you can contact a former student of the class (make sure they took the class you’re taking and not just another botany class with a different teacher) and pose your questions to them. They’ll be able to tell you if the class was very disease-heavy, and if diseases were difficult to understand.
They may even have old class notes or papers that you can read over to get a better understanding of what the class will be like. Good luck and study hard!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
