Fear is a defense mechanism designed by our subconscious minds to optimize our safely. The things we fear most are death and pain; in order to keep our selves from experiencing death and pain our subconscious associate things that are potentially harm and dangerous as fearful. A commin example is fear of heights.
Most people that fear heights aren't scared of begin in the air, their afraid of falling and hurting (possibly killing) themselves. In order to over come your fears you must be able to rationalize the irrational fealling and justify its safety potential. Another example is fear of the dark.
There is nothing harmful or dangerous about being in the dark but so many people fear it. This is mainly because of some implemented idea from different movies and tales framing darkness as a place for bad things (like monsters, killers, rapists), its no wonder people are scared of it. But if you can rationalize the situation and realize that there are no rapist, monster, or mysterious killers in the room you shouldn't fear a thing.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
