If you are breaking nose cones that could be an indication that somebody threw away the original bracket. Some Chevy starters had two bolts into the block, some had bolts into the bellhousing, some had two bolts staggered into the block. Look for a "boss" on the block at the end of the starter location.
A "boss'" is a protruding casting and will have a drilled & tapped hole for the brace.
I've never seen a Chevrolet engine that needs a brace to hold on a starter motor. The starter is supposed to be bolted to the bellhousing with three bolts. Make certain that each of these bolts is tightened to the proper torque settings.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
