Concrete might be more expensive in materials, but it is cheaper in labor costs. Both require footers but the concrete slab can be poured at the same time as the footers (called monolithic slab). It takes about 1-2 hrs to pour the slab and another 3-4 hrs to finish it.
There's quite a bit of labor needed to install floor joists and cross bracing plus the sub-floor. It may take 2-3 days to nail together a wood flooring system. My guess about the labor hours.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
