Kesinee - probably your biggest cost would be transportation. That said traveling within Thailand is inexpensive by road and rail. Though depending on where you go for example from Bangkok to Phuket a bus will take a little over 10 hours.
I'm not sure how budget you want to go but traveling by plane within Thailand is very affordable too. Check out airasia. Com or nokair.com.
Flying is of course faster. Budget hotels and guesthouses are easily found in major tourist towns at really affordable prices, especially if you are not concerned about quality. Food and and drink will cost you the least.
You can get a plate of rice and chicken and a bowl of chicken soup for around 25 to 30 baht, $1 US dollar. A liter of bottled water is 10 baht and fresh fruit cost 10 baht too.
You probably know the answer better than I do because you are from Thailand. I went to Phuket and Krabi but don't know how to answer your question. Because your costs depend on a lot of factors, such as how long you want to stay, how many places you want to see, and what kind of resort/hotel you like to stay.
If you like, you can read my hub about my travel in Phuket, with some photos. Have fun!
Not much probably. I usually don't go for 5 star hotels since I don't stay in the hotel that long. I search for places that are convenient and clean!
Foodwise, the prices are not that high in Chiangmai hubpages.com/hub/Thailand-3-Days-in-Chiang- or Bangkok hubpages.com/hub/Thailand-4-Days-in-Bangkok haven't been to Phuket or Krabi yet though...A larger expense might be paying for the tours to outlying islands etc.
Check out my hub , there are pretty awesome deals. hubpages/hub/beaches-here-are-the-top-10 Plus I beleive you can get a pretty awesome deal for Krabi.
As I am Thai I would like to recommend you to go to the south like Krabi, Phuket, Panga and Satun as well. There are many budget hotels overthere that you can choose one best for you. In my opinion the travel spending is not different.
Hope you will come to Southern provinces of Thailand soon. :-).
If your looking for a midrange type holiday Budgeting $100 a day will allow you to do most anything you wish and stay in good accommodation... as mentioned one can get by with a lot less..if your looking for luxury type deals the sky is the limit.
I spent 150USD for my holiday day in Phuket. That is great!
I've made a little guide to Hotels in Phuket that have a real beachfront. hubpages.com/hub/Phuket-Hotel-Guide This should help you make a good choice if you plan to come to Phuket.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
