How often a carpet to be replaced or what is life of a carpet? I am buying a apartment having 10 yrs. old carpet. please?

Depends on how well it is cared for; and the quality of the carpet. My parents' carpet is nearly 20 years old; and is still in reasonably good condition. OTOH; I had a renter take a carpet from acceptable to requiring replacement in a 2 year tenancy.

If it's acrylic, forget it. The under-carpet is very likely deteriorated an no longer providing support and distribution of weight. If you pulled it up, there would be lbs of dust and dirt that had filtered through over the years.

It's like sleeping in a bed made with linens that haven't been changed in ten years. I'd have it removed, hardwoods laid or screened and replaced with only free floating area rugs for cleanliness and health reasons alone.

It all depends on how dirty it is...don't go by age of carpet.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
