Thank you Alice. . .
I understood you quite well and it was obvious to me that you are not a regular English communicator. . .
So what, I can handle five languages but I am not fluent in all of them. To answer your question, yes they are the same in a sense that they are citizens of Lebanon. However, they are ethnically different as you pointed out, they have different religions and customs and even different political outlooks which put them together in their clan.
You made a very good point about the atmosphere encountered in different restaurants. I have traveled all over the world and dealt with many different cultures, I agree with you that ethnic Arabs have a complete different way of thinking and interpreting reality. .
. OMG I try to steer clear of them. One can have a pleasant conversation and spent an enjoyable time together until you just said something that is perceived as wrong, OMG they pull out a knife and want to kill.
Go get an education, instead of telling the world that you're too cool to be an arab. I'm sorry, I can't be kind about it! I've had enough of you brainwashed silly superficial lebanese religious racists, incapable of having any critical thought at all!
Do Lebanon a favor and get out of the country... or planet.... maybe existence... Just far faaar away from here. With Love :).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
