If you have fibromyalgia, when you start a new aerobic exercise program, work gradually toward your goal. Begin any new aerobic program slowly, and increase the intensity every 4-5 days. If your pain worsens, temporarily reduce your activity to the level that you previously tolerated for 2-3 days, then try increasing it again.
