I am a Doctor but this is only an answer to a question in an open forum so please consult a doctor in person for your health related problems. Menstruation return within four to ten weeks in a normal women after child birth. It Also depends on breast feeding and health condition of the mother.
Pregnancy test of urine should be performed 42 days following the missed period. I advice you to consult a doctor.
Condolences on your loss. :( There are many reasons why your menstruation cycle may not have returned. There may be a very reasonable, natural reason for it, but due to the unusual circumstances of your son's premature birth, it is very important for you to seek professional medical advice, and not rely on the "wisdom" of the Internet|internet.
Your doctor, any medical doctor, who is able to physically examine you will be able to provide more valuable information than any website or individual can, even if they are a doctor. As I'm sure you are aware, the over-the-counter Pregnancy|pregnancy tests aren't always accurate, and again, given the unusual circumstances of your previous pregnancy, they may not be sophisticated enough to detect a new pregnancy.
First of all, I am very sorry for your loss. This must be a difficult time for you. It can take a couple of months postpartum for your period to return.
I would consult your OB/GYN or family physician about this since your cycle has not returned.
I am very sorry about your loss. I know how you feel I too had a still birth at 35 weeks it was due to the cord wrapping around his neck. I know it took 4 or 5 months before I got my period back.
When I called my doc in concern he just told me every ones body is different and said if it was later than 9 months to make an appointment. But you may also want to check with your doctor.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
