How the %$* will limiting what guns law-abiding citizens can have stop criminals?

You may believe that gun control would just result in law abiding citizens being defenseless -- but gun control advocates DON'T believe this. The gun control advocates may be wrong; they may not be paying close attention to facts or logic -- but the vast majority of them probably DON'T want law abiding people to be defenseless. Your question, as it's phrased now, suggests that they do.

Which makes this a bad question, IMO, because it seems to be attributing evil motives to people just because they disagree with you on a question of fact. To answer a bad question, or what I think is one, I say "NO," it is NOT "safe to say" this, because your claim that "libs" want to make law abiding people defenseless is almost certainly wrong. If you as a gun rights advocate think that gun control laws would have this effect, that's another issue.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
