When I was in high school, we had this substitute teacher that we hated. To annoy him we used to question everything he said, answer his questions with questions and just generally not get any work done. As it turns out, he ran out of the room crying and quit his job.

If you really want to be irritating, just repeat the same question the teacher just asked. But the real answer here is to take over the class by asking something relevant beyond the teacher's knowledge, or expertise, and another student answers the question instead. We did this years ago in a modern history class by daily reading the news, and jointly agreed ahead of time, what items we read.
BTW, 8 of us started this, and we all got A's. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
