1. Yes. Military flying is completely different from civilian flying.
You need a commercial pilot license just to bypass the selection course, even then you must still undergo all the military training. 2. No, only university degrees are acceptable.
You must have a university degree to join directly. You can apply also for the ROTP program, where the forces will pay for your university. Another option is CEOTP, where you must get a degree by correspondence within 9 years of joining.
Beware of this though, you will be busy enough at work, many people have trouble finishing. 3. The only way to start flight training without a degree is with CEOTP.
Again, you will end up working your *** off trying to finish your degree on evenings and weekends. Remember there are years of training before you even start flying in the Canadian Forces. You need to pass basic officer training, second language training and on-the-job-training before you even touch an airplane.
Not trying to diminish your accomplishments, but air cadets teaches you to fly Cessnas...not fighters. Your previous flight training means very little in the military, unless you have a commercial license, in which case you can bypass one course (out of many).
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
