You need to market yourself, a lot. Join networking groups. Advertise.
Even bad photographers get work if they put enough blood sweat and tears into marketing. I know; I have seen their products when friends show me wedding albums.
I wouldn't say go to college for photography to become a professional as you can learn a lot from the internet and books. You need to practice shooting.
This is not a hard one to answer- find photographers you admire and respect and then try and emulate what they have done. This takes a lot of hard work and creative input- but if you do it you will have 40% of what you need. The other 60% is about being in business and that's the hard part- but if you really want it your commitment will be rewarded.Grant.
Go to college for photography. I don't know where you live, but if I did I would suggest some colleges.
Buy a camera and pick up the phone. Eventually you're going to accidentally find a gig, then just learn from your mistakes...
Becoming a professional wildlife photographer takes many things.
I assume your talking about animal wildlife so here are a few of my tips.
Firstly you neeed a decent camera system, I suggest a DSLR with long lens.
Secondly you need camouflage gear or a hide.
Fourthly you need to learn about the wildlife you are capturing as only through a good understanding of your subject will you be able to acquire good pictures.
You will also need to have patience because you will have to spend many uneventfull hours waiting for you subject.
Wildlife photography is not easy, getting the pictures is hard enough but selling them is even harder because there are so many really good photographers out there with big budgets supplying the most popular books and magazines etc.
Lastly, even though it may seem hard at first, stick with it because eventually you will get better and better and even if you don't make a fortune from it it is still a very rewarding way to spend you time.

Buy camera, take photos, process and sell them. It's that easy but that is assuming you know how to take photos. And how to sell your services and products.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
