I agree to some extent with Constant Strategies answer. You have got to get your own website right first before all the off-site stuff you are talking about in your question (CPC, CPM, etc.) Have a look at this page which shows over 20 things to do on your own site before you start thinking about doing things on Twitter, etc. http://howtoseo.link2light.com/how-to-se... You would need to build more stable and long lasting links by submitting articles to reputable article directories like Ezine (example). It takes time and consistency to build up your page rank. Plus the fact that you also need to know whether your keywords are the ones being highly searched for or not.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
