How to change the windows 7 taskbar back to previewing the window?

I depends on whether your PC supports the Aero theme, as when I used windows 7 on my laptop too see if it ran, it didn't have anything thing fancy like the theme you described, but ofc my desktop runs it smooth and a baby bottom :P, However I can tell you how to enable this, this will be the decider, if you cant enable it then unfortunately your PC doesn't support it. 1) Right click on the desktop 2)Click Personalization 3) Look under Aero themes, select one of those that is the theme that has the funky display features you described.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
