Personally, I'd call a tow truck, provide proof of your rental agreement for the parking spot, and have them tow the car away. Though, you may be required to put up a warning sign or give them a verbal warning (which I'd record in case you need it later for legal purposes). Then, put a padlock on your bin.
Yeah, it's a few extra steps and maybe a few bucks, but I think they'd get the message and it'd be some nice revenge. Either that or clean all the feces covered nappies and raw meat out of your bin, put in a nice plastic bag, set it neatly on their doorstep, ring the door bell, and light it on fire. You could then either stay to confront them about it with great thematic effect or leave and let the assholes figure it out for themselves.
I don't know what is available in your country but here in the USA we have mediation A person without being involved will try to get to the bottom of the issues. For starters I would line my trash bin with a large plastic bag then each time it is removed you won't even have to wash out the bin. Next time they park in your space park behind them They will not be able to move and you have every right.
Good luck bad neighbors are the worst.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
