How to increase the visibility of questions?

Ask your friends to team tip them/vote for them. 3-4 votes can get you on the home page. 3.

Tweet and Facebook your questions. 4. Use good categories and tags.5.

DQing questions is a nice idea. Soon Mahalo will be "routing" questions to people automatically. That should change things a LOT.

When that is working an iPad question will route to the top three people in the iPad category (or on the ipad-answers. Com site! ).

This is out big challenge: getting questions to people who can answer them.

I have pondered that as well, as many questions disappear out of sight quickly and get little attention. Personally I don't know how much people look by categories. I don't do that a lot myself, and when I do you probably have a better chance of being found at the lower levels.E.g.

I might be interested in iPod questions, but Consumer Electronics is too broad, and there are too many questions in there to sift through. What will really get your question more visibility is a big tip, but of course you don't necessarily have the money to offer big tips all the time. The wording of the question can help, if it's something that grabs attention people are more likely to open up the question and read the details.

Also when you've been here a bit longer you'll make some friends and that'll probably help, as when they see your avatar against a question, they'll take notice. I still have questions that vanish quickly though, so I don't have any sure-fire answers for this one. EDIT: Of course I forgot to mention the obvious thing.

Questions that a lot of people in the community are interested in get a lot more views.

One way I've found that works is to identify what interests certain users, and when you post a question you believe will interest them, DQ them to let them know of your question, including a link to it. If you don't overdo it, and you correctly identify members' interests, you will likely get good responses. Of course this also requires that your question be of high quality and provide an avenue for interesting discussions, and/or creative answers.

One of the best ways to increase visibilty to encourage discussion from other Mahalo friends. I think this is the best way. Don't look for any google ranking techniques to pull in alot of viewers.It is not working.

The only way is group discussion. This is only reason, I cross examine people vigorously on issues, who answer. The activity of the discussion attracts other members to engage in the conversation.

The discussion must be direct and pointed at the issue otherwise it turns to "back slapping" and "praise seeking" discussions.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
