Menopause Menopause is a time of life that can be challenging and can, in my estimation, only be overcome by embracing this phase of your life. It can be a wonderful, beautiful and freeing experience. I was overcome with hot flashes, flushes, and broken sleep.
Agitation was bountiful and if I had a dog I'm sure I would of kicked it. This all changed when I decided to change my attitude and way of thinking about menopause. This period of a woman's life has been happening since the beginning of time and when I realized this and accepted it I became a calmer and much nicer URL1 matter how bad I felt or no matter how many times I awoke through the night I made myself get up the same time every morning and shower, do my hair and make up then enjoy a healthy breakfast.
I finished up with a lovely cup of coffee while reading our daily newspaper. I did 20 minutes of housework every day as well as took a late afternoon or early evening walk. Just sticking to this routine, gave me control of my life again.
I begin to think of all the good things that came from going through menopause, the freedom to be me was the most important and such a wonderful feeling. I love my age, I love my freedom and I love my life. I became reborn as a woman, mother, wife and human being and it's been a wonderful experience.
Im now 54, and did a lot of Research on this Subject To be serious, each women is different, I for one, have been taking HRT therapy since I was 38 1/2, I would not trade my hormones pills for all the money on earth. I know the risk taking them, and I know IM not that nice with out them, its like being in puberty all over again and everyday. With them IM a happy camper.
Some women have hot flashes, night sweats, anxiety for hours, lost memory, sexual problems, sleeplessness, some have depression. Some keep a fan on their bedside table pointing at their head, its runs 24/7, and it helps with the hot flashes at night. Others have very few side effects, some take soy based products that seem to help as long as the person takes them for more than a few weeks.
Some women find they gain 20-30 lbs. Its mother natures way of our survival, I exercise by riding a bike in winter (in house with a trainer attached to the back wheel) 36 miles a week and double that in the better warmer months. The thing is knowing what to expect, you can ask 100 women and each will have their own issues.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
