How to Restore a Dell Optiplex GX620 with Windows XP Pro without the CD, when F8 doesn't offer the "repair Your Computer I have a Dell Optiplex GX620 running Windows XP Professional. I only have the "System Restore" feature which allows me to restore form an earlier point. The Restore feature had been turned off until about 1 week ago when I tried to restore.

The computer is very slow and freezes quite often. I attempted the F8 feature and was able to get the black screen with options, however, there IS NO "REPAIR YOUR COMPUTER" function for me to select (only the debugg and safe mode, reboot, etc. Functions. To see if yours has a hidden partition, right click on My Computer, left click manage, double click storage, double click disc management and it should show you.
