Access Wireless offers the best Lifeline Service. For example, you get 250 talk minutes and Unlimited text minutes each month. The type and model of the cell phone they provide is top of the line, touch screen, Wifi enabled, cameras, etc. They are not iPhone or Apple brand or model but they are similar in appearance and performance.
Also, if you are not satisfied with the phone they provide, Access Wireless allows you to purchase your own phone, as long as it is iWireless compatible, and they will upload your monthly minutes to that phone once you call and register your new cell with them. This is just one of the countless Obama/Government Funded Lifeline Service Providers available. Please take your time and do your research before applying because once you are locked into a plan it takes a long time to cancel, in order to go with another provider.
As for how you qualify, there are many types of methods and sources of documentation they may request from you, typically a Medical Card, Food Benefit Card, Low Income Housing Lease, Disability Statement, so on and so forth. If you do not have at least one of those things then you do not qualify for the free services. Also, they limit one Lifeline phone per address, not per qualified applicant, so keep that in mind.
Just to name a few, Assurance Wireless, Q-Link Wireless, Safe-link Wireless and the list goes on. Simply type Lifeline Service Providers in your search bar and research the directories. In my, and numerous others, experiences with multiple providers, Access Wireless is hands down, the best of the best available, not just for the nicer, newer phones they provide, nor for awarding the most minutes per month but for also having awesome customer service and all the perks they offer that none of the others offer, such as a free replacement phone or the ability to buy your own.
Hope this helped answer your questions. I could of been a jerk too and said, "Get a job!" but I am not one to judge, in no way is my life perfect, nor am I above anyone. We must stop the hateful judgment, there may be a reason you cant work, they don't know, they instantly jumped to a conclusion about you and your life.
In order to create change we must first be the change we wish to create. Best of luck to you!
You live with your parents, so you are not eligible. As much as I am a bleeding heart liberal, you really do not deserve the assurance wireless plan. C'mon get yourself cleaned up, perhaps a haircut, shave, and land yourself a job.
In addition, even if you were eligible, you cannot be too choosy with your phone choices. The government is providing phone service, not data, or Internet.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
