How well do concrete sections (beams and columns) translate when naming conventions are highly variable?

Concrete sections (rectangles, circles, tees, els, etc) are typically modeled (by the application) as “parametric sections”, where the section name is of less importance than the other properties (width, height, etc) ISM provides numerous techniques to the application developers to ensure that round-trip mapping of sections works. The Revit Plugin provides a mapping tool that can be used for custom (non-standard) Revit families. Each family only requires a single mapping (one per family, not one per section).

Typically, the mapping is set up once for a firm and then works for every project. If you are only using Revit families “out-of-the-box”, there is no need for concrete section mapping at all. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
