In my opinion I don't think there is much difference between us. Why? Because we are just human beings, each of us has our beliefs.
Whether we believe in God or not we are basically the same . We all breathe and bleed the same. We all put our pants on one leg at a time.
We all love our families and children. Some of us are smart and highly educated, some of us arent. Some of us have common sense and some of us dont.
Most of us know the difference between right and wrong. Granted some dont. I think we have a lot more in common then we think we do.
I think the common bond between us is respect for one another and loving our neighbor. Catholic Christian †.
Theism and atheism are social constructs within the individual. They relate how the society stands to its outer world, seen through individuals who form part of it. Theism is the perception that there is something beyond which is part of the theist, like a supernatural being.
This perception is the same perception a child has toward its mother in which it sees mother as part of its being. To a more extended note, it is the perception of an individual within its society, or life in respect of universe. Atheists base their values upon the material, binary constructs.
They simply ignore the spiritual realm and base their perception of reality upon their superficial senses. They reflect a society which has critically detached from Mother Earth (They see Mother Earth as a Super Rock with a bunch of valuable resources in it with which they can construct robots and space ships.), ready to sacrifice the environment and move ahead. They environmental consciousness is just a money-value relationship.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
