How will changing voting demographics change the republican party platform over the next 20 years?

In 2 decades, the only changes I see would be the religious and gay rights issues. As the religious sector deteriorates (as it is now vs 20 yrs ago), and the emergence of the gay demographics increases, they will undoubtedly pander to them for votes. Even campaigning and pandering for the votes, likely they won't do squat in 'beneficial' legislation for these demographic groups.

They will continue to lie to the masses to get elected and continue to follow the party lines in their daily politics. Getting elected is really all they care about. Once in, they suck up to big business, and certainly will remain against birth control and pro-choice.

It's not about religious views per say.. it's about deterring the possibility of losing future taxpayers. Ironic though, because the country is overpopulated as it is, and we can't even sustain our country with the fewer and fewer job markets we have. Thanks to NAFTA and 'free trade' deficit with friggin China.

If you have Netflix, check out the documentaries 'Death By China' and 'Ethos'. Paints a pretty vivid picture of what's politically WRONG with our country. If you liked those, then watch 'Chasing Ice', about the global warming and alarming rate of ecological change we really haven't paid attention to- as a whole global problem.

We allowed all those jobs to go to China, and they are polluting the air at such an alarming rate that they have smog worse than Los Angeles, CA. They're cheap labor because their gov't controls everything, and yet nothing.. like pollution. They simply are stealing our jobs to make them richer, us poorer, and pollute the whole world in the process with filthy air and water.

Again, this trickles down to ecology, and need I tell everyone that they even export FOOD to us? Want to eat fish or vegetables sustained with toxic water and air? I certainly don't.

Just think about it. Want to create jobs in the USA? Read labels.

Buy US made products. If you possibly can. I know they cost more.

But, would you rather support our own economy or theirs? Screw the politicians. As an individual, we each have a choice and the power as to how we weild the almighty dollar.

Quit buying foriegn goods, and put the hurt to all of them (politicians and big business). Collectively, as a society, we have that power, but stupidly fail to use it wisely. America needs to wake up.

I don't care if you're this race or that, rich or poor. This affects us all, and will only get worse. Until we- as a nation- wake up and realize that simple fact that buying foriegn goods HELPS the parasitic corporations and pumps millions of dollars into those political pockets, it will just continue.

And yes, war funds big defense contracts... and oil is going to go to outrageous prices in the next few yrs. Who is most invested in these two categories? Republicans.

They want to keep us brainwashed, producing babies, and slaves to big corporations. That's how they line their pockets- with our ever-declining wages and mass consumerism.. selling us ideals we take blindfolded and 'on faith'. How can they tout Chrisitan views and be war-mongers and steal livelihoods from their own people?

Total hypocritical BS to me. We need to hit the 'reset' button. It's all a corrupt racket.

And don't think I am a Dem or a Repub, I just call it like I truly see it.

The Republican platform has been the same since Reagan, I don't see it changing much in the next 20 years.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
