I live in the Klondike, the Yukon Territory, and these are some things that we are seeing now: - melting Permafrost (land that has been frozen for 10,000 years). This is causing buildings to sink, and hillsides to slide, which can cover the few roads that exist here. - we bet on the Spring breakup of the Yukon river down to the minute.
It now breaks up a week earlier than it did in 1898, and it has been a steady progression. - we are seeing new animals, like deer here. Natives are hunting animals they don't have names for in their languages.
- grizzly bears have moved north, and are mating with polar bears, producing a hybrid bear - loggers have to plant 2 trees for every 1 they cut. They are now having to plant different trees, as in 50 years when the new ones are ready to be cut, the climate will have changed that much that different trees will be growing. These are just a few of the changes we can see already.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
