Hy how do I get my ball python to stop hissing and biting me?

Check the temperature and housing so that you are sure they meet proper requirements. Sometimes snakes will become irritable if they're sick or in improper conditions. When is the last time the snake ate?

Most ball pythons are really docile, but there are that are plain irritable. You may just have to work slowly at acclimating it to handling.

Since snakes can't be tamed, I'd say you can't. I know someone with a ball python and it has been doing the same thing for like three years now. She can only clean its cage when it is in the middle of eating (mouthful of mouse means no biting).

Try hitting him on the head with a rake. The RSPCA might not be too happy about this, but it works :D.
