I am looking for a historical romance that I read long ago but can only really remember pieces story line. The female characters in the book have special abilities. The lead female has the ability to find lost things but loses that ability when she is raped.

Friend of lead has ability to tell when someone is telling truth when she touches them. Of course, lead female uses friend to justify to new husband that she has come to love that she is indeed telling truth and was assaulted. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
