I just came here to post the same question! I want to make some hats and headbands! Everyone says it's so easy but the only instructions I can find online confuse the crap outta me I think I'll be going to the craft store to buy some yarn and instructions after the boys get up from their nap!

Now how to figure out how to get the flowers stick to the alligator clips? THeres gotta be at least 10 ladies on here who make them and sell them... but no one wants to share their knowledge. I'll be going to Joann Fabrics this morning, I hope!

I looked this up. It seems that many use the store bought crochet headbands. I've tried to find a pattern for them.

I did buy a 3 pack from the dollar store but have yet to do anything with them. I think you have to knot them or maybe even cut them and sew them smaller like the lace stretch headbands - haven't gotten that far yet.. It's all coming clear to me! I'm sure you could use the crochet headbands in the same way! H thanks.. Good to know that you need to"line" the clip with ribbon. I was wondering how you hide the ugly metal.

Measure the baby's head and start knitting. Make it just a bit short so it stretches.It's going to stay on the baby for about 3 seconds anyway, but don't let that stop you. Have fun, and make something cute.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
