I am looking for two books and I sorta know the plots but not the authors any suggestions of where to begin to look?

Your local library This is the job of a reference librarian. He or she may have to do some checking and get back to you, but they also may know it off the top of their head. You can even try just calling them and they will probably help you that way, if you don't want to actually go to the library.

I would start by just asking them here! Funny you should "ask" a question on "Askville" about where to "ask" a question. I have seen several questions come through here about specific books.

One was something to the effect of "it was a book about a bunny that gave it's life for someone..." and that was all they knew. It might take a long time searching so broad but then again you could find it fast. Or go to a bookstore or library and ask someone there. Sometimes they are good at helping locate a book.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
