Photoshop Elements is my pick I use Photoshop elements 6 and 2. I also use manuals to help me learn new projects. If you can get a copy of PE 2 or 3 - I’d actually suggest that over 6.

6 has an organizer which is great but I think the learning curve is just a bit frustrating and I don’t care for the layout. *that’s just my personal opinion though and some folks like the slick modern look. I have both programs on my system and the beauty of PE # is that one won’t overwrite another.

So while I’m using 6 a lot more often these days, I still use 2 for one tool which is not on 6. That tool is "clone" and I love it. If you have experience with photo editing, then go ahead and get PE 6.

I’ve used Corel in trials but I do like the Photoshop Elements better. I will suggest a couple of really good manuals too - which, if you are a beginner in photo editing, I highly recommend. Sources: personal experience?

So much support for Photoshop is hard to pass up There are tons of free/inexpensive plugins, templates, brushes, layers, scripts... all for Photoshop (and a good support Elements, too) that it's hard to pass all that up for what is really a "no-name" in photo editing: Corel. The only photographers that I know who use any Corel product use "Painter" to make painting-like portraits. Everyone else uses the gold standard of Photoshop.

You can buy Photoshop Elements now, or buy it later after spending money on other products. Sources: Professional sports/event photographer .

No brainer - Photoshop Elements I can elaborate, but this is a no-brainer. If you can't afford the full-blown Adobe Photoshop, get Photoshop Elements. Personally I just purchased Photoshop Elements and installed it on a new Vista system. It would not even run. When I double clicked on the ICON to open it all I got was errors.

I called tech support and they were very helpful, however after talking with them, for two hours, they could not get it to work. They said this is common with Vista. Eventually they said they "might" get it to work but I would probably have to delete the program that was interfering with it.

GEE I HOPE it wasn't something I needed! I told them to forget it. Not worth it.

So if you have Vista I would say watch out because you might run into the same problem. I sold the program. Lost a little money, gained a ton of peace of mind.

HOWEVER I purchased Corel Paint Shop Pro PHOTO X2 and it is wonderful. Loaded perfect, works perfect. Has a ton of options just like Elements does.

I have no regrets. You can get this program on Amazon at a real good price. I highly rerecorded it.

You can even download it for 30 days as a trial before buying it, that is what I did. Personally Opinion :-) Doc † .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
