We painted, well I painted the walls a gold color that to me looks pumpkinish until you hold pumpkin up to them. If you distress the black on the cabinets and don't make them shiny they won't look halloweenish.At least I don't think so.
lean more towards the tertiary orange -- .I think you need to add another color into the mix. Either paint something some design pattern onto the cabinets-or only paint one wall pumpkin spice if you think the cinnamon is too brown. Then you can add another neutral color to blend it out.
That way it won't be so harsh. You could do the one wall with both colors (ps and cin) by adding glaze to one color and ragging it off. I love this effect.
I also love rooms that have the one wall as a different show piece.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
