I am more of a Buddhist at heart, I have always wondered why Jesus would have just let them crucify him?

Buddha was much smarter than Jesus and he actually made sacrifice because he was living in extreme luxuries of his time. He was a prince and future king. He had not a single reason to leave all those luxuries of life and get enlightenment.

But he did and following his path many others have also gained enlightenment. Jesus, the fiction, on the other hand was badly created mythological figure. Even if they were going to invent a figure like him they should have made it believable.

Jesus even if existed really made no sacrifice not even what he is credited for by Christians. And by following Jesus' path half a billion have died and still counting.

Buddha, Christianity starts with bloodshed and violence and is seen as a peaceful religion. Many religions do not rely on such measures to find peace and acceptance.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
