If you don't know anyone there, it will be best if you have a job that you are going to. People there can steer you in the right direction for apartments, etc. It is a scary thing, but I bet you will be glad you made this decision.Do you have family and friends at home you will be able to visit and keep in touch with? You could join a church or a gym.

If you were well loved at home you will experience home sicknessfor a few months and cry sometimes about it. Have some cush money set aside. Be careful about the people you deal with if strangers, they will see your vulnerability and try to exploit it.

Find a church/YMCA and other places you can meet people. Maybe rent before you buy a place...so you can find the best place to live.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
