1 Check to ensure the laptop you are buying has a built-in wifi for wireless connections. There are a lot of free wifi services, but knowing where you will travel might help in deciding on which company plan to buy, in order to have service when no free service is available. The point of sales should be able to assist.
Lots of travel would set a high priority on light weight and long battery life. ..
2 As long as your laptop has built-in wifi and a built-in Ethernet port (RJ-45) you will be able to connect to any broadband Internet service. If you think you may use dial-up Internet service then make sure the laptop comes equipped with a modem. If your laptop has all three, then you can connect to anything.
3 As for setting things up, you need to provide us with more information. Are you mainly going to be using the laptop from home? If so, do you already have Internet service at your house?
Is it Cable? DSL? Dial-up?
FiOS? .
You have to go to a Internet provider. A land line (telephone) would be some one like AOL. If you want to hook up to cable then you have to go to some one like Comcast.
You receive a modem and hook up to your computer, if you want it to be wireless, then you can buy a router, and make sure your LapTop comes with a wireless connection. There also card out that you can plug into your lap top, from AT&T and Verizon etc. to receive the Internet. Of course you must pay for all these services, it isn't free to connect to the Internet.
The provider charges a fee, any were from $25.00 a month land line to $50.00 Cable etc. You won't be setting it up your provider in most cases will do it for you. When you buy your LapTop ask the salesman for his or her advice.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
