I am up to a whopping 33 cents earned this month, how do you generate $$$ on hub pages?

I've been making about $15/month from the HP Ad program. My Google adsense earnings are rather hit and miss. I made about the same (fifteen bucks) with that last month.

You have to write a lot of product articles and know where to back link them.

I always link on Facebook, twitter, reddit, digg, tumblr, Folk'd, google bookmarks, A1 webmarks, and sometimes I get around to doing links on shetoldme and Best Reviewer.

Hope that helped -I'm trying to take this to the next level at present, and intend to publish one good hub (1500 or more words) every day.

I got a payout before this HP (your own domain name) junk started. But now, wow, I've made a whopping 3 cents in August. Dreaming of that yacht I'm gonna buy.

I got 93 cents this month so far. It's not great, but it's better than how I was doing before. For me, the domain name change really helped... now I can even 'find' my articles on Google!

But, I did notice that it took about 2-3 weeks after the domain name change for my traffic to increase. So I couldn't really tell you how to generate many $$ because I am earning similar to you. However, if you made the domain name change at the deadline or if HP did it automatically for you, it's possible that you just need to wait a bit more until your traffic increases from the domain name change.(I did the domain name change well before the deadline so if you allowed HP to do it for you that would have happened later on, and you may still have a bit more 'wait time' until the full effect kicks in).

I must admit I am no longer optimistic about my earnings here. As a matter of fact, I am not writing much these days. Even though all my hubs are original and decent, I am not interested in becoming a product seller and because of that, I don't see that I have a bright future here.

The thing that's going to help you best is back linking. I saw a dramatic jump in traffic when I posted my graphic design tutorials, to other graphic design websites. It's all about finding pages, forums and networks that concern your subject matter, then getting the links to those places.

The more you do it, the better off you'll be. Though you still won't be looking at a huge income. I do a moderate amount of backlinking and I'm only making between $10-$18 a month.In other words, it's an uphill battle to get a paycheck each month.

I am at 45 cents on HubAds, and almost $9 on adsense for August. I got them both up and running exactly a week ago. I've increased my views by posting my links to topics I know my friends will like on my facebook page, so I'm hoping to see an increase in the money being earned at some point.

I think the people who make decent money have been at this for awhile, have a pretty big following, and spend a huge amount of time backlinking and researching what topics people are currently searching.

I have no idea my friend. I myself am sitting on a very glorious round figure of 0. I envy your 33 cents.

It is work, but there are lots of tips in the forums, and many experienced hubbers, including myself have produced hubs full of tips.

No one suggestion is guaranteed but you can pick and mix most solutions.

I increased traffic by re-naming my hub URL's for my hubs under the sub-domain change. Search Engine referrals have increased by over 300% in two weeks so that can be the first area to gain traffic easily.

Thank you all for your feedback ...yea...it appears this is not a money maker...and I too have no desire to be a product whore with my writing. I want to write about things that I think raise public awareness.

I am interested in how to create back links could somebody break this down for me step by step in laymans terms...thank you.

That is .33 more than I have made in all my time on HP but I only do it for amusement so I'm not complaining.

When it comest to earning with hub pages I have to say "i don't have any idea about how to make this happen".

Every now and then I get few cents from adsens and that is all.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
